DANITY KANE ARE OVER, ACCORDING TO A BAND MEMBER.

Yikes! The not so good girl band, Danity Kane is over, according to Dawn Richard. "As of right now, [Danity Kane doesn't exist]," Dawn Richard told MTV News on Wednesday (January 28). "It's devastating for me." The band seemed to have trouble to begin with! Maybe that's what Diddy wanted -- it makes for some good press and TV shows.

We've all noticed Jessica Simpson's weight gain lately, and her younger sister Ashlee is pretty pissed off about all the buzz. I personally think it was nice of Ashlee to defend sister Jessica, and now she too can get some publicity. Maybe it's easy for her to say, seeing as she's the skinny sister!!

I am completely disgusted by the headlines concerning my sister's weight. A week after the inauguration and with such a feeling of hope in the air for our country, I find it completely embarrassing and belittling to all women to read about a woman's weight or figure as a headline on Fox News.

All women come in different shapes, sizes, and forms and just because you're a celebrity, there shouldn't be a different standard.

Is this something you would say to your wife, daughter, mother, grandmother, or even a friend?

I seriously doubt it.

How can we expect teenage girls to love and respect themselves in an environment where we criticize a size 2 figure?

Ha! Jessica Alba just updated her blog today to talk about the Inauguration and of course her whole feud with Billy O'Reilly. She seems to be a little upset about Billy O'Reilly and his claims of making her appear "stupid,"  so do U think she's wrong and doesn't want to admit it???

Before I get to the video, I want to clear some things up that have been bothering me lately. I find it depressing that in the midst of perhaps the most salient time in our country's history, individuals are taking it upon themselves to encourage negativity and stupidity. Last week, Mr. Bill O'Reilly and some really classy sites (i.e.TMZ) insinuated I was dumb by claiming Sweden was a neutral country. I appreciate the fact that he is a news anchor and that gossip sites are inundated with intelligent reporting, but seriously people...it's so sad to me that you think the only neutral country during WWII was Switzerland. IS THE OBAMA FAMILY GETTING SPECIAL TREATMENT???

HMMM!! Seems like the Obama family really has gotten special treatment, compared to past presidents. I understand that America is very excited to have the first half-black president, but do they really need all this unnecessary attention??

I mean really who has cared before what the president's wife fashion is like?? And the kids are apparently trend setters for carrying around dolls that have been around for years?? I think it's a little too much to be honest.  Now don't get me wrong, I'm excited for a new president whether I like him or not... and his kids are absolutely adorable but sometimes too much is too much.

America, don't get too excited until drastic, promised change has actually taken place.

HAYDEN PANETTIERE UNDERAGE DRINKING???

19 year old Hayden Panettiere apparently had her license taken away at NV, a nightclub, and according to JustJared, she slipped in through a private side entrance to meet up with friends. The owner of the nightclub tells Inside Edition that Hayden approached the main bar and attempted to order a drink.

The bartender then asked for ID, and when it was noticed she was under 21 -- took the ID away. Shortly after, Hayden and her friends were escorted out of the club. A very frustrated Hayden, then took it upon herself to call the police. Read her 911 call, below!

911 Operator: “What’s your name?”
Pannettiere: “Hayden…I went into a bar and I showed them my ID. They let me in and um…he took my ID and he won’t give it back.”
911 Operator: “What bar is it?”
Pannettiere: “NV.”
911 Operator: “NV?”
Pannettiere: “Yeah!”
911 Operator: “Ok, and he took your ID and they’re not going to give it back to you?”
Pannettiere: “Yeah, and I need to get on a plane in a couple of days and I really need my ID back…I live in California.”
911 Operator: “Ok, we have officers on the way.”
Pannettiere: “Thank you very much.”

Wow! I hope it isn't true that she tried to underage drink, and then even more stupid -- she calls 911 to get her ID back.  Celebrities need to use their noggins more often, I think.

Check it out above! The video features new footage of moments after the recent plane crash into the Hudson river. I'm still so amazed that the pilot was able to save more than a hundred lives, including his own with his smart thinking.

MARIANA BRIDI DA COSTA, A BRAZILIAN MISS WORLD CONTESTANT LOSES HANDS & FEET.

Mariana Bridi da Costa, a 20 year old model who was in the Miss World contest, representing Brazil has had her hands and feet amputated after catching a severe urinary infection, Australian News reports. Bridi was diagnosed with a infection by the Pseudomonas aeruginosa bacteria, which is often deadly. She was apparently misdiagnosed with kidney stones.

 What??? How could they miss such a thing? The infection reportedly spread quickly which resulted in her going back to hospital for tests that revealed her actual condition. Surgeons had to act to remove her damaged hands and feet, because they were cutting off circulation. I guess everyone is human and make mistakes -- but this mistake may prove fatal!

Poor girl, I hope she successfully recovers.

Ekaterina Rubleva, a Russian Figure Skater had a little wardrobe problem -- apparently her top didn't want to stay on! Ekaterina was at the European championships in Helsinki, Finland, 3 days ago when this occurred. She was apparently very embarrassed, but I'm sure most of the crowd didn't mind the view!

ANOTHER TRAGEDY AT VA TECH.

Sad! After the tragic shootings which took place at Virginia Tech back in 2007, people were hoping that no more violence would occur.  They were wrong! A 22 year old female graduate student Xin Yang was decapitated on campus, with a kitchen knife.

Yahoo reports that the victim and her accused attacker, 25-year-old Haiyang Zhu, knew each other but the motive is currently unknown. My condolences go out to the family who lost their daughter, these types of tragedies are always hard to accept.

JODIE SWEETIN HAS COCAINE RELAPSE.

The former Full House star, Jodie Sweetin can't seem to stay away from drugs! While she claims to be completely sober, others are saying something else. According to a co-worker on the set of her new movie Port City, Jodie Sweetin has been using drugs yet again, Radar reports.

"I watched Jodie Sweetin snort cocaine," said the eyewitness who was quoted in this week's National Enquirer.  The eyewitness, who reportedly passed a lie detector test, is claiming that she saw Sweetin abuse cocaine in a trailer in late August along with her co-workers.

Yikes!! This news actually is quite disappointing, as a big fan of Full House and of Jodie herself, I really hoped things would turn out for the best. But, it looks like she's beyond addicted, poor girl!

SHIA LABEOUF HAS NO LICENSE.

The cutie-pie Shia LaBeouf no longer has a valid drivers license! The suspension took effect January 17 (2009) is a result of Shia refusing to take "chemical tests," according to AccessHollywood. The suspension will last at least a year, but who knows.


That sucks! Shia needs to get his act together.

Uh oh! Miley Cyrus, and Justin Gaston who are apparently all about church -- can't seem to help themselves.  They were apparently sending several text messages back and forth during services in California.

"They thought they could fool people, but Miley couldn't stop giggling," an insider tells Star. Isn't texting during church services and listening to Miley giggle a little immature for 20 year old Justin??????? Maybe not!

NICK NOLTE CAPITAL ONE CARD, HA!

As you know, you can customize your Capital One cards now, well David Mackie did just that! He customized his Capital One card by submitting a rough picture of Nick Nolte in his September 2002 mug shot. Once Capital One took notice to the fraud, they immediately got in contact with David and informed him that the card was being deactivated until he submitted a different picture.

Capital One offered Mackie a $50 customer goodwill statement credit for the cards return.  Mackie did return the card on Tuesday.  A little bizarre, but pretty funny at the same time.

This is the first picture released of Boy George in prison, apparently writing on a pad of paper. Boy George is currently sentenced to 15 months in jail, because he got convicted of falsely imprisoning a male escort by handcuffing him to a wall in a London apartment. Freak!!

The inmate who took this picture of Boy George, said "A celeb is a celeb in here. People love fame. Everyone remembers Culture Club.” Do U think he'll last in prison??

To celebrate Martin Luther King Jr, I've decided to post this Youtube tribute video made by user Manny535. The song used in the video is called "Look Down, Lord" from "Rosewood"(1997), featuring lyrics and music by John Williams. This is a very well done video.

There is also an audio excerpt from Dr. King's "I've Been to the Mountaintop" speech: "We've got some difficult days ahead. But it really doesn't matter with me now, because I've been to the mountaintop. And I don't mind. Like anybody, I would like to live a long life. Longevity has its place. But I'm not concerned about that now. I just want to do God's will. And He's allowed me to go up to the mountain. And I've looked over. And I've seen the Promised Land. I may not get there with you. Martin Luther King Jr, will never be forgotten! Let's hope Obama can fulfill what Martin wanted to do, we'll have to see though.

OPRAH HAD A PRIVATE DINNER W/OBAMA.

Entertainment Tonight is saying that Oprah and Gayle were among 100 people at a closed-doors banquet at Blair House, across the street from the White House. If that's not enough -- Oprah's best friend Gayle King confirmed the story, and revealed details.

"It was a buffet dinner, so everything you'd expect in a buffet was there - as someone who's trying to fit into a red hot inauguration dress, a buffet is not my friend," Gayle tells ET. Well well, what lucky girls, huh?? I'm kinda hungry now, I could go for a buffet -- Obama invite me to dinner next!

A 16 YEAR OLD GETS STABBED AFTER WATCHING "MY BLOODY VALENTINE, 3D"

Yikes!! No 16 year old boy could see this coming! After watching a screening of the movie My Bloody Valentine in 3D, a security guard named Ricardo Singh was getting people out of the theaters for the next show -- when a 16 year old boy refused to leave, saying he wanted to wait inside for his ride.

What did that result in??? An irrational stabbing in the stomach! "They pushed and shoved each other, then Singh removed a folding knife from his pocket and stabbed the victim in the upper stomach area," a police news release said, according to NewsDay. The 16 year old boy was taken to the hospital, where he received six stitches.

The guard was arrested and charged with second-degree assault, and is set to appear in court today. What a crazy guy!! It was probably cold out, the guard should've let him stay in.

It seems like Britney Spears is aiming for a little big screen action on the side! Spears who has starred in chick flick Crossroads, more than 5 years ago and she was just on TV last year in How I Met Your Mother, might be perfect for a role in a new movie. Yeah, you guessed it! Looks like she may be up for a role in Sex & the City thanks to Sarah Jessica.


Sarah Jessica Parker told friends: “My idea is to have someone like Britney Spears move to New York as my cousin or niece and Carrie would show her the ropes.” How exciting for Brit! I'm a huge fan of SATC, and I wouldn't mind seeing her in the sequel. If chosen, Britney would play a young relative of Sarah's character, Carrie Bradshaw.

JODIE SWEETIN CLAIMS TO BE 100% SOBER.

Jodie Sweetin who has been in the media concerning her alcohol, and meth addictions is claiming to be completely sober. "There are a lot of things being said about my using that are not going on right now," Jodie tells PEOPLE exclusively in the new issue. "I want to make it known that I am absolutely, 100 percent sober."

She says her only slip up was a couple glasses of wine at dinner, last summer. That's not bad at all -- if she's telling the truth! But get this, her baby daddy and husband Cody Herpin says just the opposite. "She has continuously broken her sobriety since Zoie was born," says Herpin, "I'm worried about Zoie."

JAY LENO GETS NO LOVE FROM SHARON OSBOURNE.

Sharon Osbourne believes that Jay Leno has banned her, and her family from appearing on his show, which NBC is denying. When Sharon was confronted and asked about appearing on Jay Leno, she replied in a stern voice with, “He had always been a friend of ours, but then Ozzy went and performed on Jimmy Kimmel, and Jay has banned us ever since. So [bleep] him!… I will go to Letterman or Kimmel. I am not going on Leno. Thank God, I don’t have to sell anything like a movie or a drama series.”

NBC says they already had Sharon on the show after Ozzy appeared on Kimmel, and they have reached out to Ozzy multiple times since then to appear as well. Fishy! Sounds like a bunch of unneeded drama, really.

AIRPLANE CRASHES IN HUDSON RIVER.

Yikes! This wasn't any normal flight for crew members, as they took an airplane from LaGuardia to Charlotte. There were 146 passengers on board the flight, along with 5 crew members. All passengers are apparently out of the plane and unharmed.

Wanna know what caused it?? Crazy!!!! ABC is reporting that Government officials say the plane's two engines went down after a flock of birds struck the plane. That's insane, but I'm glad they landed safely.

MATILDA'S LIFE WITHOUT HEATH.

Michelle Williams, the former fiance and the mother to Heath Ledger's child went through a lot after his death, and now her friends speak to OK! magazine about life without Heath. I feel bad for both of the girls, I know they're through a lot of things.  However, it's very precious that Matilda is a spitting image of Heath.

On Matilda's reaction to Heath's death:

"Matilda never really understood what happened when he died," a friend tells OK!. "It was heartbreaking when she asked for daddy and Michelle had to explain that he wasn't coming back."

 On what Michelle's doing now:

Now, one year later, Michelle is still trying to find happiness for herself and Matilda. She is steadily working and has begun a quiet romance with film director Spike Jonze.

Backstreet Boy Howie Dorough and wife Leigh are expecting their first child in June 2009, they revealed exclusively to PEOPLE. "I know she's going to be a great mother," says Howie. "If she can take care of me, the biggest baby in the entire world, I think she's going to be okay with the little one coming along."

Howie is the third Backstreet Boy to add additions to their family! Congrats to them.

Britney just purchased an $8.9 million dollar home just north of Los Angeles in Calabasas. Britney had her kids in mind with her new house, she moved to get away from the heavy traffic of people -- and closer to recreation parks for her boys. How sweet, Brit.

Aww! Katy Perry has come forth about her breakup for the first time to PEOPLE. "It hurts right now," said the singer says. "When you breakup with someone you move on," she said. "You don't really want to move on ... but you have to because they don't give you any choice," she added, "But I'm over it!"

AMY WINEHOUSE'S HUSBAND FILES FOR DIVORCE.

Yikes! Amy Winehouse's husband Blake Fielder-Civil is filing for divorce, over adultery that Amy has committed. "I can confirm that I have been instructed to commence divorce proceedings on the grounds of Amy's adultery," Blake's lawyer, Henri Brandman told PEOPLE.

Maybe it's the best for these two. I think they're both a bad influence on each other.

FERGIE AND JOSH OFF TO THEIR HONEYMOON.

After enjoying a nice wedding, and an after party -- Fergie and newly husband Josh didn't waste anytime getting to their honeymoon.  The two spotted at LAX airport, were headed for a tropical paradise honeymoon. Sounds lovely, I wish I had something like that.

If you're wondering when kids are on the way, Fergie jokes saying she's pregnant with twins.  Not yet, but in the future it'll be so cute to have little Fergie's jmping around.  Don't ya think???

Wowzah! Heather Mills took a big chop off her hair, and it looks great. She not only looks younger, but it suits her face a lot more than the longer look. I guess Heather is trying to look good, with a divorce and all -- she has to stay strong.  What better to cope with it than a hair cut????? Exactly! Ha ha.

KANYE WEST WANTS LESS FANS.

Kanye West, 31, looking rough on this new cover of Vibe has revealed that he would like to have less fans. He tells Vibe, "I wanna make popular music, but I want less fans," he continues "I want the freedom of having less fans. It's like the freedom of having less money. If you have less money, you have less responsibility."

Hmm! I can understand where he's coming from, not wanting so much publicity and other things that come hand & hand with being famous. -- but really he got into the business knowing what the business was like. It's too late to back out now!

Kanye also compares his ideal career, to that of Björk.  "It's like Björk. If she wanted to pose naked, you'd be like: 'Oh, that's Björk,'" Kanye spills "But if I wanted to pose naked, people would draw all type of things into it."  Kanye even talks about posing NAKED in the next however many years, eww! No thanks Kanye, we're good.

DEMI LOVATO GIRL'S LIFE COVER.

What a cutie! Demi Lovato is looking natural, and age appropriate in this casual cover of Girl's Life. Does anyone else find Demi to be adorable??? Her cover is for the February/ March 2009 issue. Be sure to look out for it.

She really is! Also, I find her to be a lot more likable compared to Miley Cyrus.

Congrats!!! Fergie, wearing a Dolce & Gabbana gown wed to her fiance Josh Duhamel on Saturday. According to PEOPLE, Fergie carried a bouquet of white flowers studded with crystals as the couple exchanged H. Stern rings engraved with personal messages. Ten bridesmaids were dressed in contrasting black. The two got wed in Malibu, California.

I really can't wait to see wedding pics!!!! Also, I wonder if a baby is in store??? Hmmm. A souce also told PEOPLE that Fergie who has been working out to prepare for her wedding, has lost a lot of weight and looks amazing.

I love it! This very cute purple sequin dress is perfect for a night out. Sequins are seen everywhere, and are going to be for a long time -- if it's not the girl next to you it's the hottest celebrity wearing them!  This lovable trend is one of my absolute favorites, so I'm glad it's sticking around. Not only is this dress hot but the price tag is awesome -- at $35.

Sorry ladies! Perez Hilton has blogged about Kate Hudson being spotted kissing a girl in Miami, but it's not true according to Kate. When asked if she swung that way by US magazine, her quick response was "No, no, no, strictly boys for me!"

That's okay girls, there's plenty of fish in the sea for ya.  On another note, Miss Hudson was late to the People's Choice Awards last night due to traffic, tsk tsk! Being on time is always important in Hollywood.

CRISTIANO RONALDO WRECKS FERRARI.

Omg! Cristiano Ronaldo was reportedly going way too fast in a tunnel, which caused him to lose control and run into the wall causing major damage to his Ferrari. Crazy! Maybe he shouldn't have been speeding so much -- looks like Cristiano can't handle a Ferrari.  Cristiano luckily came out of the crash unharmed, and there hasn't been reports of any injuries caused by his crazy driving.

I wonder if he'll go buy a new Ferrari!??

Scarlett Johansson looks absolutely stunning on this new cover of Harper's Bazaar, for February 2009. Scarlett, who is married to hunk Ryan Reynolds saw it coming! "I wasn't surprised that it was happening, but anyone being presented with a beautiful diamond ring, as a girl, you just squeal with delight," she reveals to Harper's Bazaar, about Ryan popping the big question. "You say you can't believe it, but of course you really can."

I would love to see them have kids, they'd probably be adorable. Scarlett reveals that she doesn't plan to be pregnant anytime soon, which in my opinion is great as they just got married. They should enjoy their life together a little bit before adding a little one.

One of the most talked about movies of 2008, The Dark Knight received quite a few very deserving awards. Christian Bale was present to accept the awards, in honor of Heath Ledger, at the People's Choice Awards.  Christian Bale accepted favorite On-Screen Matchup, in addition to the Favorite Movie, Favorite Cast, Superhero and Action Movie.

Aww! Heath's death is still tragic, and a lot of people miss him. R.I.P. Heath.  Heath's daughter is an everyday reminder of him, as they look just alike.

NY DOCTOR DEMANDS MONEY FROM HIS EX WIFE.

Creepy! Dr. Richard Batista, pictured above gave his ex wife his kidney back in 2001, and 4 years later she filed for divorce. And what does he want??? He's demanding $1.5 million to pay for the kidney she was given. What in the..?? What's wrong with him, she really must've hurt his feelings with that divorce. His ex wife Dawnell Batista is shown below.

PRODUCT REVIEW: DAISY BY MARC JACOBS.

If you're looking to buy or try a new perfume, I would more than recommend Daisy by Marc Jacobs. As a girl who usually doesn't pay attention to perfumes I really really like this perfume. I received this perfume as a gift from my best friend for Christmas, and let me tell you -- it was one of the best gifts I've ever gotten.

With Daisy, you'll get nothing but compliments! Some appreciated features are the fact that it doesn't smell fruity, and it's smell isn't overwhelming -- in other words when you walk people they don't think you're the lady with ten different perfumes on. I would give this perfume 5 /5 stars, and more if I could.  Love it!

Asher Roth, a rapper was on an Atlanta-to-LAX flight. Roth was on his way to LA for a performance on Carson Daly, when an unidentified man made a bomb threat. Roth gave a statement to the FBI, and has been asked not to speak about it right now.

Despite many rumors of a feud between Angelina Jolie and Jennifer Aniston, Brad insists the two light eyed beauties have none of that going on! “Listen, man, Jen is a sweetheart,” Pitt tells W magazine in an attempt to get rid of this nasty rumor.

“I think she got dragged into that one, and then there’s a second round to all of that Angie versus Jen. It’s so created.” He also reveals to W magazine that Aniston still occasionally speak, as they were big parts of each others lives at one point. Go mature Brad!
